Healing Happy Hour presents Boundaries and Being KIND vs “Nice”
Join us for Healing Happy Hour: Boundaries and Being KIND vs “Nice”
Hosted by Bobbi Jo Horsted (Jo), this month’s Healing Happy Hour focuses on the importance of boundaries and the power of kindness. Boundaries are vital for our well-being, and the holiday season often brings situations where they are tested. Jo is excited to share practical tips on how to build, maintain, and enforce boundaries—not just with others, but with yourself.
In this session, Jo will also explore the distinction between being “kind” and being “nice.” Often misunderstood, kindness involves authenticity and self-respect, while “nice” can sometimes prioritize others’ comfort at our expense. Together, we’ll uncover how boundaries and kindness go hand in hand, empowering us to navigate life with confidence and compassion.
What to Expect:
- Community Guidelines: Setting a safe and respectful environment for open sharing.
- Interactive Discussion: Tips and strategies for setting and maintaining boundaries and practicing kindness.
- Closing Reflection: A meditation or care prompts to process and apply what we’ve learned.
This thoughtful and compassionate space is designed for women and non-binary individuals to come together, share, and grow in a supportive community.
