Healing Happy Hour: The Healing Use of Traumatic Storytelling

Join us for a transformative virtual event as we honor Domestic Violence Awareness Month with a special focus on the healing power of Traumatic Storytelling, led by Parker Jesse Chase, she/they, the LA Chapter Co-Coordinator.

During this event, we will delve into the profound healing potential of Traumatic Storytelling, acknowledging and reclaiming the power of our narratives. By sharing our stories, we can foster a sense of community, resilience, and empowerment for survivors of domestic violence and all those affected by it. This safe and supportive space is dedicated to providing solace, validation, and healing for Janes who have experienced domestic violence.

Through our shared experiences, our expert facilitator will guide us in exploring the therapeutic benefits of storytelling. We will learn how to craft our narratives with intention, embrace our emotions, and find catharsis in expressing our truths. By honoring our stories, we pave the way for healing and collective transformation.

As we come together to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month, our event serves as a platform to raise awareness, educate, and advocate for change. By shedding light on the effects of domestic violence, we strive to break the silence, dismantle harmful societal patterns, and create a future where all individuals can live free from abuse.

To further our mission, we encourage you to explore This is Jane Project (TIJP) and discover resources and support through thisisjaneproject.com. Join us as we cultivate a space of resilience, compassion, and empowerment, celebrating the healing power of Traumatic Storytelling in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Together, we can create a world where every survivor’s voice is heard, valued, and uplifted.
